Patrick Pilege earned his Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he played college football. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). Patrick is the President and owner of Optimum Fitness. He worked for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a content expert, lectured for the NSCA’s National Symposiums and was a member of their Exam Development Committee in addition to contributing to the NSCA’s text books. Patrick is published with the NSCA Journal of Strength and Conditioning. He is a former Strength and Conditioning Coach from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Creighton University and played an integral role in Creighton’s teams winning MVC Championships in basketball, baseball and soccer. He has helped produce numerous professional athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB and MLS. Patrick’s high energy approach and cutting edge style of training makes him a sought after expert in the fitness industry.
Sherrie is the Vice President and co-owner of Optimum Fitness. She specializes in Corporate Wellness design, implementation and management. Charlie Oborny earned his Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science from Creighton University 1992 and his Master's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha 1995. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 1993. Charlie was the head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Creighton University from 1992 - 2000 and played an integral role in Creighton’s teams qualifying for the NCAA Basketball Tournaments several years in a row and Regional Tournaments in baseball and NCAA Tournaments in soccer. He taught classes for the Exercise Science Department at Creighton University. In addition to personal training, he is currently a firefighter for the City of Omaha and is certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a paramedic (NREMT-P).
Craig Kersten earned his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he served as an Assistant Swim Coach for the UNO Masters Swim Program. He is a Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). Since 1990, he has coached all ages from 6 years to senior adults at the Millard Aquatic Club, where he co-founded the Millard Masters Swimming Program. He has trained Olympic trial qualifiers and state record holders in his career and also served as an Assistant Coach for the Millard North High School Swim Team for several years.
Brian Gohr earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Wayne State College 2003 and his Masters Degree from Northwest Missouri State University in December 2004. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Brian was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Northwest Missouri State University Intercollegiate Athletics from 2003 – 2006, Two-time Nebraska State Powerlifting Champion (1997,1998), four year letter winner – Wayne State Football (1999-2003) and Football Lifter of the Year (2002, 2003).
Bryce Teager earned his Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science with an endorsement in coaching from Wayne State College and is currently working on his Master's Degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and a Certified Weightlifting Club Coach through (USAW). Bryce worked as a Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for three years before joining the Optimum Fitness staff in 2006. At Wayne State, he was a 3 year starter in football, competed in track, and made the Dean's List for 8 semesters. He is a Two-time National Championship qualifier and holds 5 state records in the sport of Weightlifting. In addition to weightlifting, Bryce has competed in Powerlifting, Strongman events, Submission Wrestling, and Mixed Martial Arts. Bryce and his wife Christy are new parents of their daughter Zoe.
Zach Molacek Zach Molacek earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Human and Sport Physiology and Masters in Exercise Science from Wayne State College in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the NSCA. While at Wayne State, Zach was a Graduate Assistant for the Exercise Science department, and was also a member of the football and track & field teams. He was a 3x All Conference First Team Running Back (2004, 2005, 2006), NSIC Offensive Player of the Year (2006), and WSC Male Athlete of the Year (2006).
Sara Noonan Sara Noonan graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Education in May of 2005 from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the NSCA and is an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor. She is a premiere expert in teaching a variety of group fitness classes in the Omaha area for 5 the past years. Sara has helped all different age groups and genders achieve results in losing weight, maintaining the weight loss and living a healthy lifestyle. She has helped countless people by planning and implementing class formats that are both challenging and fun. Sara feels that exercising within a group creates a certain dynamic that is motivating without being threatening. Her expertise in boot camp type classes combines high intensity cardio drills and strength training that can be modified for all different fitness and ability levels. Sara specializes in teaching people from ages 16 to 88 in different classes such as indoor cycling, strength training, endurance training, and water aerobics.
Jessica Allen Jessica Allen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Stanford University in 2002 and her Master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Development Services from Creighton University in 2005. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as recognized by the NSCA. Jessica played collegiate softball at the University of Nebraska where she earned Big-12 All-Academic First Team honors for two years, and appeared in the College World Series with the Huskers. At Stanford, she earned Pac-10 All-Academic First-Team honors, and contributed to the Cardinals with a third place finish at the College World Series. She was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete her entire four-year career, and a three-time high school All-American. Jessica spent five seasons as an assistant softball coach at Creighton University, where she helped the Bluejays advance to NCAA post-season play four out of five years. In addition to personal training, Jessica works as an Academic Success Counselor at Creighton University.
Tamara Langlois Tamara has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her Associate’s Degree from Southeast Community College in Fire Protection Technology. She is a certified personal trainer through NSCA, and is also an Ace Certified Peer Fitness Trainer. She is an Impact Certified Coach and has been coaching Club Volleyball for the past 10 years. She currently coaches club volleyball for the River City Juniors Volleyball Club, in which her team made it to the National Tournament last year. She is a Firefighter with the Omaha Fire Department where she is a member of the Fitness Committee, the Urban Search and Rescue Team, and is a Hazardous Material Technician. She is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician-B, and is current with CPR, First Aid, and AED.
