Why is it important to know my metabolism?
Metabolism is influenced by a number of factors, such as:

The two factors that have the largest influence on your RMR (resting metabolic rate) are total body weight and total muscle weight. If you weigh more, your body requires more calories to maintain your normal body functions. If you have more muscle, your body burns more calories at rest. What will I learn from this test?
